Description:
A one pack zinc rich primer giving protection based on an extremely durable epoxy resin and sacrificial zinc pigment.
Properties:
- May be used as a primer and finish coat in one.
- May be top-coated if desired
- Matt grey finish
- May be brushed, rolled or sprayed
- Total Zinc content 85% of dry film

Use:
For long term protection of steel surfaces against rust and corrosion. Can be used in the most severe of corrosion inducing conditions. Designed for exterior use such as on roofs, handrails, balastrading, gates and wrought iron. Also used for touchup of galvanised and zinc-alum surfaces and touchup after welding.
Application:
Stir well before use. Apply direct to the bare metal. Do not apply over rust converter or any other coating. Apply 2-4 coats to achieve minimum dry film builds of 75 micrometres when used as a sole coating and 25 micrometres when a topcoat is to be applied. Generally top-coating is not required. However if colour is required, apply HiChem Silvagal, Quick Dry Enamel, Rust Not, Hammercoat.
Coverage:
5.5 m2/L at 75 micron Dry Film Thickness, 8.2 m2/L at 50 micron DFT, 16.5 m2/L at 25 micron DFT.
